I was given a very cool opportunity by SweatPink and Fit Approach to try out a new app and share it with you guys! The app is called Every Move, and can be found in the app store for both IOS and Android phones.
“Every move is your fitness-tracking, motivation-hacking, habit-attacking community” according to their website. It's a platform for tracking your physical activity, and based on how many points you get for each activity, you earn rewards! You also have the ability to share your success on social media, and sync up your workout device to the app (Garmin, Nike +, etc.)
I thought this was really cool, because you can just use your normal app to record your workouts, and it automatically syncs to Every Move! There are tons of workouts to choose from, too. The obvious ones are running, cycling, and swimming, but they also list things such as cleaning the house, gardening, cooking, walking the dog, and playing with children. It just shows that being active by doing every day activities can really add up!
Now, on to the rewards. Here are some examples of the rewards you can choose from:
I actually chose to donate $1 to help fight children's cancer. I didn't have any interest in the other rewards, and I liked the idea of working out and earning money for a good cause at the same time!

Once I get back to running again, I'd like to try syncing my Garmin to it. I'll be able to rack up a ton of points for the charity!
I think it's a fun app if that's something you're into. If you're going to be logging workouts anyway, why not earn rewards, or earn money for a good cause! Plus, you can also make friends, compete, and motivate each other.
