MAC Haul October 1, 2011

Hello all you lovelies! I had some fun at MAC this week, and thought I’d share the loot with ya! I got two of the new Pro Longwear eyeshadows-Hot Paprika and Plush. I also got two eyeshadows for my pallettes-Naked Lunch and Twinks. They are all beautiful! I also got a new 15 color eyeshadow pallette. I took out the dividers so I can make it my random sized eyeshadow pallette. I got a new foundation-Studio Fix Fluid in NC30. I thought it might be a little too dark, but it ends up blending in very well with my skin, and makes me look tanned like the rest of my body. I got Silver Dusk Iridescent loose powder by the recommendation of Kandee Johnson. I have been wanting it for awhile now. I have the cream colorbase in Shell, so I’ll be putting a bit of Silver Dusk on top to set it as a highlight. Does anyone have any other ideas for uses of Silver Dusk? My New Random Pallette – Top left is Pewter from Stila that I got in my Birchbox a few months ago. Middle Left is a sample from Ulta by Urban Decay – I think it is the StarDust eveyshadow, or something like that. It’s supposed to be glittery without any fallout. To the right around Hot Paprika are Expensive Pink and Paradisco by MAC.

I would love to hear about your ideas for good Fall inspired eyeshadow looks. I have really been enjoying the fall inspired tutorials I have been watching. Fall is by far my favorite season! MAC Posh Paradise Paint Pots

Happy Friday! I was able to get my hands on three of MAC’s limited edition paint pots from their Posh Paradise collection! I got Genuine Treasure, Idyllic, and Treasure Hunt. I have swatched them all for you, and put a similar eyeshadow over each of them. I am impressed, and might even go back to buy more :-) . Here they are!

MAC Surf the Ocean Pigment Stack

I finally got it! I am so excited! I got the pigment stack from MAC called Surf the Ocean from their Surf Baby Collection that was released for the summer. It comes with a gold, silver, dark almost navy blue, and a sea green frost. I was just playing around with a few of the colors. There is a little bit of the navy pigment in the crease, and the silver pigment foiled with some Fix + on the lid. I wasn’t even trying very hard, so I can’t imagine how beautiful these colors will be when I actually do a real look. Let me know if you have this, or it’s sister stack of pinks, etc. How do you like it? Is this something you are planning on purchasing?

My New Favorite Summer Pink

This is Gilda by Zoya. It is the most gorgeous, shimmery, bright, cool-toned pink I think I have ever seen! It is perfect for the summer. This picture honestly doesn’t do the color justice. I just got 7 new Zoya colors, and I will try to swatch as many colors on here that I can.

NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Swatches

Hi everyone! I just went to Ulta today, and bought two more NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils because they were SO cheap! They are 40% off through tomorrow-so gather them up before the sale ends! I LOVE using these over my primer, and under my powder shadows. They definitely help improve color payoff and staying power. I thought it would be nice to swatch the ones I own so you guys could see what they look like before you buy them. I have 8 colors that I feel are very wearable, and can be used with a lot of looks. Another Awesome Color From Zoya!

I wasn’t too sure about this color when I first got it in the mail. After I put it on, though, I realized how beautiful it is! It is a purple with gold shimmer. It almost looks like a duochrome. It is great for spring and summer! Let me know if you have tried this color, and what you think of it!

My Crazy Fun, Insanely Large Haul From This Weekend

So I went shopping this weekend. I was very naughty at Ulta :-) . (I had 20% off! Who wouldn’t be, right?!).  I finally got a Clarisonic-ended up getting the Plus-and I really like the way it makes my skin feel so far! I will be doing a review on it after I have had it for a month or two, and have (hopefully) noticed a difference in my skin. These are the items from left to right: BBW True Blue Spa Shea Butter Super Rich Foot Cream, Super Softening Hand Lotion (w/paraffin), and Walnut Shell Soothing Foor Scrub, my Ped Egg (I bought refills for it), Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub in Hawaiian Kukui (smells incredible!!), Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment, Neutrogena Makeup Removing Cleansing Towelettes in Night Calming, Philosophy’s Hope In A Jar, Sally Hansen’s Insta Dri, MAC Dazzleglass in Smile, NYX’s Mega Shine lipgloss in Chandelier and Dolly Pink, NYX’s Diamond Sparkle Lipstick in Sparkling Orange, Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Lipstick in Pink Chic, and my Clarisonic Plus.  Wow, that was a mouthful!
