The Twelve Days of froYo (Day 7)

On the 7th day of FroYo, my true love gave to me:

White Chocolate Mousse with Dark Chocolate Raspberry Mini cups and raspberry sauce on top, and Candy Cane with white chocolate chips on top from:

ZOYO

Devin and I went to break in the new Zoyo on 24th St and Baseline tonight, and it wasn’t bad! They didn’t have the same flavors as the one in Tukee, but it was still good! They had some really interesting toppings there that I hadn’t seen before. Sour straws in the wrapper being one of them. I was tempted….also, this spicy lime salt stuff that you’d only see at a So Phx FroYo place. They also had a salt shaker by the syrups and sauces, lol! I guess you could salt your Dulce de Leche if you wanted to. I’ll have to try comparing that to the Salted Caramel they have at the Tukee one.

Anyway, so I had FroYo, then I had this:

My sweet neighbors made me cookies. Cookies with lotsa chocolate chips in them. LOTS! Nothing compliments a nice healthy glass of unsweetened vanilla almond mile like a bowl full of chocolate chip cookies. Oh, and two (one was being eaten at time of picture) cherry cordials from Mom and Dad! YUMMY!! I need a reason to keep running, ok?

I guess the fact that we get a guaranteed bid for the 2013 Ing New York City Marathon(!!!!!!!!!) must not be big enough reason, huh!?? Haha! Totally kidding! As much as I hated training at 4:30 in the morning to avoid the heat in the dead of summer, I still welcome it into my life yet again this year if it means crossing the finish line of this:

OMG I beat him!! With my half marathon time! Woo hoo!!!!!!

Yeah, so the news blew up my Twitter today that we get In to Finish again in 2013, and I am beside myself excited!! They gave us the option for a refund, but who wants that!?? I would pay the entry fee again without getting a refund for last year’s race to get a guaranteed bid! Oh wait….that’s the way it works….really? I am not complaining, though. What a great resolution to the problem that seemed like it was never going to be solved! To top off NYC day and my super-mega Friday, I got this in the mail from this amazing blogger:

Well, I am off to bed now to rest up for my fun-filled Friday of baking, meetings, and an Ugly Christmas Sweater party! We are SO winning the prize for ugliest sweater!!

Happy Trails!
