Work Da Booty
I joined two challenges last week for February, and to perfectly honest with everyone, I have not been keeping up with them. I have done a few days, but not all. I am not giving up, though, because we’re not even done with the first week of February yet. There is still a lotta booty work to do and fab abs to work on.
I went to hot yoga Sunday and ran into my friend Heidi. We proceeded to get brunch at Pomegranate Café, which is one of my favorites! They have very healthy fresh food. A lot of it is vegetarian and vegan, as well. I got a western omelet with baked fries:
I also got coffee and a fresh juice smoothie with beets, orange, mango, pineapple, and a few other things.
Later that day, I went to my friend Karen’s Superbowl party with my friend Karen (yes, two Karens) and brought this:
This is Ari’s Buffalo Chicken Dip that she posted on her blog last week. It was a hit!! It has mostly healthy ingredients, and only took about 15-20 minutes to make.
Someone made these:
and I had two. No shame. Zero shits given. In fact, I ate way way way too much food there, because it was all so good!
In addition to my friends, I got to hang out with her:
This is Brighton! What a sweetie she is! Isn’t she beautiful!? Very well mannered and mellow, as well. Definitely a fan of the belly rub .
This was the perfect sunset out the back of their house seen from their patio:
This picture, although beautiful, doesn’t give it half of the justice it deserves.
Zipping ahead to today, I finally got a trainer for my bike! Not being able to run is driving me crazy, and I needed a way to get more exercise in so I don’t get out of shape.
I went to my friend Kat’s tonight for dinner and she made these:
I never realized how much I liked artichoke until tonight. She put it in the salad and on the pizza. She gets it in a jar in olive oil from Costco. I think I might have to go pick some up….
I saw this look online today and think it would be really fun to try! If I ever get around to actually doing my makeup again anytime soon.
I definitely have the colors to do it. Now I just have to find the time and a reason.
Well, off to sleep for me. I have grand plans to workout a whole bunch tomorrow to make up for the sitting on my ass and eating Superbowl party food on Sunday. Hot yoga is one of the workouts I have planned. Maybe another ride on the trainer. I definitely want to do the two challenges tomorrow. Night night and sleep tight! (or should I say good morning since that is when most of you will probably be reading this)
Happy Trails!
