Girl’s Trip 2013-Part 2

The last day of my girl’s trip ended amazing, because I got to see my quarter sister Stephanie. Before seeing her, I met up with my coach Susan for some physical therapy and lunch.

The trip was short, but totally worth it! It was nice to be able to go by myself and do all of the things I needed to do daily for my physical therapy. I was under no pressure to walk around and do things that I couldn’t do, so I stayed off of my feet for most of the trip. (Minus most of my pictures, of course!) I could live in San Diego. I can’t wait to go back when I am all healed up so I can bike around, go surfing (learn to surf, lol!) and best of all, go on some nice runs.

I went back to work today, and it was SO good to be back! I am definitely hurting now and sitting on some ice. My team has been amazing just in one day at keeping me off my feet as much as possible. If you guys are reading this, you are ALL amazing! The pharmacy looked fantastic when I got there today! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of 4422 while I was out.

I am getting a second opinion from an orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday, because I am really nervous about how little progress I have made over the last 9 weeks. I need some objective evidence as to what the hell is going on with my body. I will keep everyone posted.

Have a wonderful week!!

Happy Trails,

Stacey
