First Draft In the Books
Tonight I met up with a great group of friends at Native New Yorker for the Hot and Humid Fantasy Football League's annual draft. I got lettuce wraps from their light menu, and they turn out really good!
It's always fun to see last year's board again. Here was our new board before the draft started:
I made a big mistake with the players I kept from last year. I didn't do any research before I decided who I was going to keep. I'm not even going to tell you guys what I did....let's just say I even laughed at myself!
Here is the team I ended up with:
I think I did a pretty good job making up for the position I put myself in. I am hoping Denard Robinson ends up turning into a strong player, because we are now allowed to keep two players from the year before. It's a stretch and definitely a chance I have taken, but it could work out to be a great investment if he plays as well as he did at Michigan.
I of course have to show you this year's draft outfit:
I need to get an Andrew Luck jersey now. Good thing most stores don't carry Colts attire around here!! I would be in trouble....
Time to bust out the Colts straws and coffee mug!!
Are you guys in a fantasy football league? Or two? This year I'm in two regular leagues and a pick em league. The pick em league is called The Toilet Bowl. It's my favorite name ever! Hopefully I can get past the first week this time....
Happy Trails!
