Whatup Wednesday
I hope you guys liked the gluten free pizza crust recipes! I had a pretty uneventful weekend. I did a little bit of shopping Saturday, but couldn't stay for too long because it still hurts to stand for long periods. I did get some really cute stuff, though, and I'll be sure to take OOTD (Outfit of the Day) pics for you guys when I'm wearing them! Sunday I had to go in to get more MRI scans, and that was it for my plans! It was a great evening of TV with Breaking Bad ending, the season premiers of Homeland, and this new show called Masters of Sex. Come on people, those of you that have Showtime can't tell me that it didn't intrigue you. It's based on real life events! It was pretty good, and I'm going to keep watching it. No shame!!
Last Wednesday I made Buffalo Chicken in the crockpot, and I put some on top of portobellos like I did with the chicken phillies. They turned out great! I'm going to post this recipe soon, and show you three things that I made with it. It's one of those that you can make for the week and not get bored!
This was Ali trying to get me to share my food with her. It doesn't get much cuter than that!
Here is an Instacollage that I did with a gorgeous new fall nail color that I got in my Birchbox. It's called Hedge a Fund by Ruffian. I've never heard of the brand before, but I really liked the polish and would definitely buy it if I knew where to get it around here. It's such a perfect color for fall!
I got these:
To make these:
So far to show for it, I have less than half of a bag of Pumpkin Spice Hershey's Kisses. I definitely am my mother's daughter, lol!!
I saw this really great photo bomb and had to share:
Pei Wei has gluten free Vietnemese Spring Rolls. They are delish!!
I got this gem at Ulta on Friday. I've already done a look with it, and have so many more in mind. I didn't even know it was out! It's the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette, and I absolutely love it!
Two nail colors in one week? I must have a lot of time on my hands! Haha!
It's a gorgeous medium purple with gold shimmer that is also great for fall. OPI's It's My Year.
I was cooped up at home all week nursing my leg, and had to get out and go somewhere. So I got ready like a normal person does, and went to Loco Patron to watch some football. Here's the look I told you guys about before:
I did the blue called Madness on the outer lids, and the silver called Shellshock in the middle. Shellshock has to be the "silverist" silver I have ever seen. The colors in this palette are velvety, so blendable, and have a huge color payoff. If you're a makeup junkie like me, I definitely recommend you get this one. More looks to come later in EOTD pics on Instagram, promise!
This was just awesome. A must-share with all of my loyal Peyton fans :-).
I've also been thoroughly enjoying this since Sunday night. I pre-ordered it a few months ago, and got alerted when it became available. I think I like it even better than the first half of the album. It is fantastic! One of my favorites is the one called "I Can't Drink You Away". Please do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven't already! I love the way his style keeps progressing. Plus, when he and Timbaland work together, it's perfection.
Last but not least, I decorated my apartment for Halloween last night! How cute is it?
It reminds me so much of last year and first moving in after making that huge life-changing decision to get divorced. The memory is good, though, because as soon as I moved in, my stress level plummeted. I have no regrets, and have come a very long way in just one year! I can't wait to share the next chapter of my journey with you guys!
I hope everyone is enjoying fall as much as I am! The weather is cooling off in AZ, and will only get more and more awesome everyday from here on out. Have a wonderful week guys, and I'll get you the recipe I promised very soon!
Happy Trails!
