Pugapalooza!!

Ali and went to our second annual Pugapalooza last Sunday! We had so much fun last year that we just couldn't miss it! Plus, how could you not want to go somewhere where you know there will be wall-to-wall pugs and everything "pug" you could imagine on sale?

Ali was ready to go in her stylish harness like the little fashionista she is :-)

Well hello bat-pug friends!

More friends

We saw some beautiful artwork when we first walked in. I've always wanted to get a painting or portrait done of Ali, but it's always just been too expensive. For this size, she was charging $400.

One of the pugs we were hoping to see, Chubbs! It's Chubbs the Wampug!! Ali couldn't contain her excitement!

Chubbs, myself, and Ali

Bumblebee pug!

Hot dog pug!

Awwww! A sombrero pug!

Motorcycle hat-wearing pug

Aaaand of course Ali wrapped herself around a pole....but she's still smiling :-)

Tigger pug!!

Lookin' all stylish in her jeans

Dalmatian pugs!

A "Pug-kin Spice Latte"

Pugs everywhere make me so happy

Dinosaur pug!

The lucky pug that managed to be without a costume :-)

Hi Sebastian!

It's a Puggerfly and his sister Pugs Bunny!

These were some of the puglets available for adoption through APARN.

Check out her amazing pug costume and the pug's Yoda costume! Totally jealous....

Look! It's Nugget, APARN's spokes pug! What a sweetheart!

Now for the coolest thing we took from Pugapalooza. BigChris was drawing portraits of pugs, and drew Ali for only $25! BigChris is a well known tattoo artist from the Phoenix area, and the brother (I believe) of the founder of APARN. Look what an amazing job he did:

I bought a frame for it before I even took it home.

Check out his website if you are interested in his work. He is one very talented man!

Aaaaaand she's out for the rest of the afternoon. It's a hard life being a pug. ;-)

Happy Trails!

Stacey
