Week in Review
I had quite the productive week this week! It started off on an amazing note with my visit to Ironman AZ on Sunday to see a few of my friends cross the finish line. I haven't been to a race or event since the Derby half marathon in April, so it felt so good to be around such enthusiastic and positive people! It made me even more excited to get this injury fixed and get back to my normal, active self again!
Lauren, my friend I met from Rockin' Refuel, running the marathon leg. She kicked butt!
Boston Strong baby!
Owen and Drea and I and my cowbell screaming like crazy at the finish!
Lisa and I stayed until our friend Bill crossed. I even got it on video! Check it out:
I haven't been that excited to see a friend cross a finish line since Ari and Nicole at PF Changs!
Ali and I discussed having the housewarming party and her birthday party on Saturday, and came to the conclusion that we are going to make it happen!
I finished painting my shelves and hung them to complete my coffee station. Do you guys like it?
Ali and I had coffee and breakfast on our balcony on Wednesday. It was the perfect way to start the day!
I also finished painting my accent wall in my bedroom. It took me three days, and a lot of sit breaks to do, but it's done!
Last but not least, I made some cookies for the party. The ones on the left are Pumpkin Double Chocolate Chip, and the ones on the right are Mint Chocolate Chip.
I hope to see a lot of you at the party tomorrow night! If not, have a great weekend!!
Happy Trails!
