Awesome Week in Review: Part 1

Somehow I've managed to go almost a whole week without a post! Maybe because it's been such a fun week ;-). Let me start with last weekend and show you some pictures from my girls' nights. Friday, Trisha and I went out for dinner at Bliss ReBar, and then to The Duce:

Look at this ridiculous salmon entree:

No idea how it was cooked, but it was excellent! The sweet potatoes were seasoned with cinnamon, and were perfect. I'm not sure what kind of rub they used on the salmon, but I loved it!

This is the only picture we got at The Duce. Sorry it's so dark....I got my fav drink-The Black and Blue Nojito:

Friday's OOTD:

Shirt-H&M, jacket-Lizard Thicket, jeans SFAM and necklace - Grand Central Clothing, boots-Cole Haan. I love winter fashion!!

Check out my successful winged liner! Only took me 20 minutes, lol! (Really about 10, but seemed like forever)

Saturday morning, I picked up my Bountiful Basket, went to a meeting, came home, and realized I had something stuck in my garbage disposal. It just hummed and wasn't working. Instead of calling some one to fix it, I looked it up and found a You Tube video explaining how to do it myself. See the hole above? All you need is a 5/16" Allen wrench to turn the mechanism inside to loosen up whatever is stuck. Plastic measuring spoon. Whoopsie! Fixed. Like a boss. #independentwoman

After all of that before 10:30am, I needed food. I made an omelet in my Vitamix. Easiest omelet scramble thing I've ever made! The Vitamix so far has been worth every penny! I even made brown rice flour out of brown rice in the dry ingredients container!

This is why Amy and I need to get together in the kitchen and make some stuff. Look at those!!

See that bucket of tortilla chips? It was the death of me Saturday night! Kristine and Lisa and I got together to watch ASU and OSU play their big conference championship games at Sandbar. I love these ladies! I had so so so much fun! Well, until after I ate like two whole buckets of those damn chips....seriously you guys-no self control! The closer I got to the bottom of the bucket, the saltier the chips became, and the more I wanted to eat them! Ugh!!!

I even pulled for OSU for Kristine. See what happens when I pull for them!? Maybe I'll keep doing it ;-).

Sunday. I went to my other friend Tricia's to make Christmas Crack sugar cookies. They are SO good, they are like crack! I saw them making the icing, and I know why they're so good! One word: butter. Holy mother of butter! I don't even want to know how much went into the dough! Let's just say I had a few.....

Check out my new friend Stacy and her 2lb candy cane! It doubled as a rolling pin. No, seriously, lol.

This one came along to help. She made sure no dough remained on the floor. (I didn't really let her eat the dough, don't worry!)

Coffee, cookies, amazing new friends, a cute 2 year-old, and an adorable 10 year-old furry four-legged one. How much better does it get you guys? Oh, and football. There was football. Best. Sunday. Ever.

Someone left completely tuckered out!

I'll end part one with this:

You're welcome :-D

Have a great weekend guys, and I'll cya again very soon with part 2!

Happy Trails!

Stacey
