Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust Version 1

Cottage cheese pizza crust is not what it sounds like. You can’t even tell it’s made with cottage cheese, but you get the benefit of the high protein content. Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it!

This version is a fluffier, thicker crust and is SO good! It has more flour, so higher calorie and carb count.

The recipe is simple:

1 cup cottage cheese (I use either low-fat or fat free) blended

1 cup all purpose or whole wheat flour

2 tea baking powder

1 tea salt

Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir until it starts to become a ball. Knead together until uniform. Place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and roll until flat. Bake at 400 degrees F for 6 minutes. Remove from oven, add toppings, then bake for 10-12 more minutes. That’s it!
