Cabo Day 2 - Paradise and a Bikini
All you really need in Cabo is a good bikini, right? It sure looks like it, right? Check this out:
Infiniti pool overlooking the ocean:
Luckily, I just found out that my bag has arrived in Cabo, and should be delivered by 6pm. Sweet!! I literally slept in a robe last night. It was comfy at least!
Sarah and I seriously slept til like almost noon. That's only 10am AZ time, come on! I can't help that my sleep patterns tend to lean more toward that of a teenager than an adult, lol! I don't know if that will ever change, either!
We went out and laid by the pool all day, and I can definitely say I look like I've been in Mexico now! I inherited the tanning gene from my Dad, luckily. Mom and Dad both tan, but Dad can sit under the umbrella and get more tan than all of us, and we get jealous :-)!
We are thinking about hitting the restaurant here at the hotel tonight. It looks so pretty! I can't wait to see it all lit up once it gets dark.
I had a Mango Pineapple Nojito by the pool today, and it was so good! It cost $310.
That's pesos for those of you that wondered where the gold necklace was that came with it! It's so hard to tip in pesos, because it's always like $45 or $141!! I have to do the math like three times, because it just feels wrong!
For an emergency bikini, this one actually turned out to be really cute! Plus, anything that is purple is automatically awesome ;-).
Getting my bag around 7:30pm was all fine and dandy until I realized that my makeup bag was missing.
It got packed, because I had Becca double check my house for it and it was not there. Its value was easily over $750. Naked 1 and 3 palette, Nars Blush palette, MAC palette, at least four MAC brushes, other brushes by different brands, two MAC foundations and a MUFE one, a Bobby Brown shimmer brick, eyeliner pencils, a limited edition MAC fluidline, blacktrack fluidline, mascaras (Benefit They're Real is a $30 mascara,) lipsticks, and a couple of hair products thrown in on top. There were more things in it, but you get the point.
I had sea bass with risotto for dinner, which was really good! I also had plenty of bread before dinner came. I haven't had that much gluten in a long time!
Some after dinner pics for fun. We watched the end of the Spurs/Heat game, and then got some snacks and went back to the room.
That was day 2! Stay tuned for a very brief blog about day 3. When it rains, it pours!
Happy Trails!
