The Last Three Weeks in Pics
Man, working full time and trying to do as many blog posts as I want is really tough! I am really behind, and want to try and catch up really fast, so I’m going to share a bunch of pictures with you guys from the last few weeks. I have some OOTD pics that I’m going to share in a separate LookBook post very soon. I have a lot of ideas flowing, and I’m just trying to get them organized and make a plan. I can’t wait to get them going! Ok, lets check out some pics:
In case any of you were wondering how to properly clean makeup brushes, I wash mine with baby shampoo, and lay them out to dry slightly inclined so and dripping water falls away from the base. Its super simple and cheap!
I’ve really been loving this lip balm from Well at Walgreens! It is shaped similar to the EOS ones, but reminds me of Burts Bees beeswax lip balm. It feels tingly on the lips, and provides nice moisture without feeling gooped on. Plus, it’s shaped like a little beehive!
I finally got my official certificate for passing the BCACP exam. I’m so excited to get to frame it at my store!! Studying for and taking the exam was worth every second of time and effort I put into it. I am SO SO glad I made the decision to do it. I feel like I came back to work an even better pharmacist than I was when I left.
This is a look that I did for work one day last week using my MAC and MUG (Makeup Geek) eyeshadows (including Beaches and Cream, Barcelona Beach, Cocoa Bear, and Brown Script) with the Vegas Lights MUG pigment. I love the way it turned out! I think these colors can go well with brown, green and blue eyes, but will especially make green and blue eyes pop.
Louisville opened their football season with a huge win against Miami in their ACC debut. What’s up, ACC? The Cards are in the house!
I had my annual live fantasy football draft with some good friends the same night. A lot of these friends happen to be from the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, ironically. They just loved it when I walked in decked out in Cards gear ;-).
The draft went well for me! Check out our board:
It was great to see Whalen! He’s one of the best store managers I’ve had the honor to work with in my day.
The next day, my friend Claudine took me out to lunch to celebrate life! Check out the amazing tuna sashimi at Sakana! Thanks again for lunch, girl!!
That night, I decided there was a need for relaxation. I love my bathroom and garden tub!!
Not the best picture, but you guys get the point. I used this new bath elixir from Boots Botanics:
It smells amazing! Reminds me of fall, because it’s a little bit spicy. Thanks to Tati for the recommendation!
Saturday, I put some pork tenderloin in the crockpot with BBQ sauce and water. There’s nothing quite like some great pulled pork BBQ for game day! Ali said she agrees:
This last Saturday night, Lisa, Michelle and I went out to dinner at The Roaring Fork in Scottsdale. It was fantastic!!! Check out this medium rare filet:
MONEY!! The mushrooms I ordered to go with it were nothing to write home about, but the steak was cooked perfectly! You could taste the wood fired flavor. I really enjoyed it! We also split a fantastic salad:
Who doesn’t love a chance to dress up!?
….and wear hot, sexy heels!
That’s all for now. I just need to get all of my ducks in a row and start putting my ideas to "paper.” I am so glad to have this weekend off!
You guys have a great rest of your week, and I’ll see you soon!
Happy Trails,
Stacey
